Maintenance of the area Some studies have also been conducted on the forage quality of grasslands based on period, the understanding of the space by wintering waterfowl and the organisms monitoring. First, the hunters created three ponds that cover 22 ha in water and opened to the public in 1994.

Two management plans have been developped for the maintenance of the area conducted by late mowing of the meadows, maintaining and planting hedges and extensive mowing. Finally, they managed the site to host visitors by creating an observatory, developing trails and developping sensitization programs. A progress comittee has been implemented to identify the best management.
