Maintenance and management of the wetland. Reedbeds are pastured by horses in late winter. In times of drought, they attempt to open the reeds by mechanical grinding. Monitoring of the wintering population. Monitoring of the breeding chronology of the mallard (Anas platyrhynchos) and the coot (Fulica atra) was conducted with a collaboration between hunters and NGOs. Management plan of the reserve is in current writing with the collaboration of Montpellier University and a future project plan to regurlarly host schools or public during big awareness raising events.
