Management and restoration of the Grand-Laviers settling basins in the Somme

The settling basins of the municipality of Grand-Laviers show variable characteristics favourable to aquatic avifauna.

However, the closure of the Abbeville sugar factory resulted in the arrival of water loaded with organic matter and sedimentation took place. That was the moment when hunters started to be active.
