Monitoring of the Common Pheasant by using GPS tracking

The Oise hunters’ federation was asked by the Office National de la Chasse et de la Faune Sauvage (ONCFS) to participate in a scientific study on common pheasant.

Birds have been captured and equipped with a transmitter to study their survival, causes of mortality, dispersion, environments used, home range and reproduction.
