Restoration and conservation management of the Tréport marsh in the Seine Maritime

March 6, 2019 FACE

The Seine-Maritime Hunters’ Federation is a “project management assistant” in the form of an agreement with the city of Le Tréport to carry out the project to restore the marshland that has served as a wild landfill site for years.

In 2009, a hydraulic study and a fauna-flora inventory were carried out and a management plan was drawn up. Guided tours allow schools to discover the wetland. In 2013, the newly restored site was inaugurated during the 3rd FDC Water Week76 (nature education action for schools).
