Title of the project
sustain the quality of the pond landscape
Description
Contribute towards the action To sustain the quality of the pond landscape (aquatic and terrestrial) and to promote sympathetic restoration and creation of small water bodies in the landscape.
A new publication was written on ‘Ponds and lakes for shooting and conservation’ to give details on how best to manage existing ponds and create new ones that will be beneficial for species of conservation interest.
A total of four ponds have been created on shoots in Cheshire and some assesments have been conducted to identify suitable areas for possible pond creation.
