Creating diverse wetland habitat – The Humber Estuary
The Barton on Humber Wildflowling Club (BHWC) is conservation-minded club. BHWC secretary, Roy Hodsdon and the rest of the club wanted to imrove their land to benefit all wildlife, not just wildflowl. Located near Horkstow Bridge, the club’s newly acquired land is in the process of a remarkable transformation – from arable to wetland, a wildflowl haven. The club members took it upon themselves to recreate the essential wildfowl habitat on the land they own. For more information click here.
