Chasseurs et zones humides: actions! FDC Manche


First, they created waterbody in the north of the area in 1987.
In 2004/2005, they created a pedagogic trail with observation windows and they managed the waterbodies to increase the carrying capacity for birds.
Finally, they created a trail for environmental initiation with three new observatories and they managed the area specifically for waterfowl, shorebirds and other large wading birds


The species most represented on the site during migration are: mallard (300-400), common teal (500-600) and lapwing (1500-2000).
Several other species frequent the site: Northern shoveler, wigeon, shelduck, greylag goose, snipe, Common stilts, Spoonbills, egret ....
