Title of the project

Collection of Irish bag data

Description

To collect bag data in order for it to be used in lobbying

Each of NARGCs 25,000 members is mailed a bag return form at the start of the hunting season. The bag return form is anonymous and requires that hunters record the number of huntable birds killed each week during the shooting season and assign the data to a Regional Game Council region. Only around 1-2% of the forms, however, are completed and returned.

The NARGC runs and promotes the program
