Title of the project
Hedgerows in the Côtes-d’Armor region
Description

A study programme was launched in 2016 by the Lannion Urban Community, the Hunters Federation of Côtes-d’Armor, and the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA). Its objective has been to make an inventory of biodiversity related to hedgerows in order to establish a reference system.
The study concerns three Breton basins, including both hedges in good condition and degraded hedges (missing shrubs and trees), bordering organic crops and grasslands. The aim is to analyse and compare the biodiversity according to the condition of the hedges.
Insect traps have been placed in the heart of the hedges to identify and count carabids, and crop auxiliaries.
