Title of the project
Hunters, farmers and children for biodiversity of Seine et Marne
Description
The Hunters Federation Seine et Marne, as part of the Sainte Catherine operation ( “à la Ste Catherine, tout bois prend roine”), coordinates hedge planting operations on the plain. In one month, the Federation travelled to 61 municipalities in the department.
In particular, fields on the Roize farm were selected to carry out a day of planting with CP and CE1 students.
7 tree species were chosen. 550 plants were donated by the Federation.
Hedges thus make it possible to divide plots, improve biodiversity by attracting insect and drain water.
