Description

Conserve the local red grouse population

Year-round predator control with a rotational heather burning regime. Annual grouse counts using pointers and setters

The project is managed by Ardfinnan, Ballybacon, Grange and Newcastle Gun Club (ABNG).

Results

Annual grouse counts have found that there is steady growth in the grouse numbers since the project began.
