Improving the quality of existing forest and other habitat types. Conversion of coniferous wood, poplar forests and (recent) hardwood planting to forest habitat types. Realization of a contiguous marsh and wet grassland complex. The area on which this project was carried out is situated in the Game Management Unit ?Vlaamse Ardennen? and is the property of two motivated hunters.

A goal of the Game Management Unit is to realize biotope improving measures.

Through this project, the Game Management Unit was given the opportunity to align better her habitat improving measures to the European directives.

The hunters contacted the necessary manpower to carry out the work and supervised the works.
