The overall objective is the management of Wetlands along the Guld of Finland. Restoration of 12 valuable bird wetland areas especially for migratory birds.

During the project, flood meadows and open water areas invaded by plants were cleared and they controlled the population of small predators.

Recreational use of the areas was developed by building bird towers, duckboards, map guides and nature trails. Various educational materials and brochures were produced to promote awareness on wetland nature. The hunters were mainly in charge of the control of small predators.
