Chasseurs et zones humides: actions!FDC Manche

June 7, 2017 FACE

In 1987, the local hunting association undertook to create a 2 ha pond in the Cotentin natural reserve. In 2004/2005, they created a pedagogic trail with observation windows and they managed the waterbodies to increase the carrying capacity for birds. Finally, they created a trail for environmental initiation with three new observatories and they managed the area specifically for waterfowl, shorebirds and other large wading birds
