Partridge Count Scheme

Provide demographic data on the grey partridge in UK survey hunting estates for bag data on partridges.

Run along similar lines as the National Gamebag Census, this scheme collects information primarily on partridge abundance and breeding success, although some information on numbers of partridges shot is also collected.

The project was established by the Game and Wildfowl Trust, a body who is mainly funded by hunting estates. Hunting estates also provided the bag data.
