The St. Samson reserve, acquired by the Fédération des Chasseurs du Calvados in 1983, allows many waterbirds to stop over during their migration or to remain in winter.

It is a good place to observe the abundant waterbirds from December to March-April. The Federation offers free nature activities lasting 2h30 on the discovery of this reserve and birds, from November 1st to March 31st.

This animation takes place in 3 steps: theoretical part to explain more about the reserve and the bird species present, practical part at the observatory to actually discover birds, fun part with an activity booklet reminding children of the elements they have learned.
