March 20, 2019
March 20, 2019 FACE

The Somme Hunters’ Federation and the Somme Fishing Federation, in coordination with their usual partners (Crédit Agricole, RTE and the General Council), are launching a flowering operation in the department.

This flowering operation will have many advantages. Flower mixtures are precious in order to revitalize biodiversity (flora and small fauna: e.g. butterflies, pollinators) and will add colors to our landscape.

The objective was reflowering near roads, village entrances, cycle paths, hiking trails, historical monuments or tourist attractions.

Country: France
Region:
Hauts-de-France
Starting date:
2014
Type of actions: Management of habitats and wildlife
Leading partners: Fédération départementale des chasseurs de la Somme
Other partners: General council of Somme
