Restoration and management of the Mesnil-sous-Jumièges marsh in the Seine Maritime

The commune of Mesnil-sous-Jumièges and the Fédération Départementale des Chasseurs de Seine Maritime have established a partnership for the restoration and preservation of the communal marshland. The Federation has undertaken an ecological inventory, including an examination of the flora and habitats present.

The site hosts a very diverse fauna, including a rich birdlife. The meadows will be maintained in partnership with the Parc Naturel Régional des Boucles de la Seine Normande. Ponds will be created to provide a site for aquatic fauna with the financial support of the Seine Normandy Water Agency.

Site visits for the general public will be organized.
