Training of volunteer hunters as volunteer firefighters

Training of 40 volunteer hunters as volunteer firefighters this year. After the training in May 2017, a ceremony took place at the headquarters of the special fire brigade on the 31/08/2017 where Nikos Anastasiades, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, and the Head of the Cyprus Fire Brigade, Markos Trangolas, handed the diplomas to volunteer hunters. The ceremony was organized by the Cyprus Federation of Hunting and went live in all TV Chanels in Cyprus.

A month after the fire-fighting body of the volunteer hunters took part in a large fire extinguishing in the province of Larnaca with absolute success. In 2018, training will continue with 80 volunteer hunters.
